Refund & Return Policy – Boiwala Bookshop

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from Boiwala Bookshop. That’s why we offer an easy 30-day return and exchange policy along with Cash on Delivery for your convenience.

Return Eligibility

You can request a return within 15 days of receiving your order.

To qualify:

  • The item must be in its original condition — unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in the original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Easy Return: Simply contact us at boiwala.dybweb@gmail.com to start the process. We’ll provide you with instructions and, if eligible, a return shipping label.
Items returned without prior request will not be accepted.

Exchanges – No Extra Charge

If you wish to exchange your item for another size, color, or product:

  • We will process your exchange at no additional cost (excluding shipping fees if applicable).
  • The fastest method is to return the original item and place a new order after the return is confirmed.

Cash on Delivery Orders

For orders placed via Cash on Delivery (COD):

  • Refunds will be processed via bank transfer, bKash, or Nagad after the return is received and approved.
  • COD service charges (if any) are non-refundable.

Damages & Wrong Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if:

  • Your item is defective or damaged
  • You received the wrong item

We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
  • Customized or personalized items
  • Personal care items (beauty, skincare)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, without explanation. Items must meet the same eligibility requirements listed above.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • We’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Bank or payment provider processing times may vary.
